Who We Are
Mission: To maintain and improve the physical, psychological, and social well-being of Kings County residents who are 60 years and older, in particular the socially isolated, lonely, as well as the frail elderly.
What We Do
The Kings County Commission on Aging Council was formally established on March 2, 1970. It was incorporated as a private, non-profit organization and is recognized nationally by the citizens of Kings County through official action of the Kings County Board of Supervisors. The Council represents senior citizens as prescribed and outlined in the Older Americans Act.
