Join the Central Valley Disaster Services team for an Open House!

The American Red Cross mission to alleviate suffering in the face of emergencies is critical, especially now. From small home fires to record-breaking natural disasters, Red Cross volunteers go wherever they’re needed so that people can have access to clean water, safe shelter, and hot meals when they need them most. Never has this been more noticeable than this past year when the Red Cross provided more nights of emergency shelter than any point on record due to an unprecedented wildfire season in conjunction with the economic fallout from the pandemic. It’s through the efforts of ordinary people that we can do these extraordinary things. Volunteers carry out 90% of the humanitarian work of the Red Cross, so this vital work of is only possible because of people like you.
This Volunteer Fair is ideal for community members who are new to Red Cross to learn more about who we are, what we do, and how you can join our mission in preventing and alleviating human suffering in the face of emergencies. Join us in our new virtual format to learn about Red Cross volunteer opportunities + how you can help during COVID-19 this Wednesday, February 17th from 5:30pm – 6:30pm.
