Lemoore Christian Aid

Lemoore Christian Aid (LCA) is a nonprofit organization set in the small town of Lemoore, California. We have been in existence since 1985, and moved to our current location in 1987.  On August 15^th, 2011, LCA went through a major remodel and upgrade, in that we made the building more suitable for our needs, and we also went with a computerized client intake system.  LCA is a community effort, with six separate churches represented on our board, all working to encourage and support LCA.

In all tasks to be accomplished here, we keep the ability and health of our volunteers in mind with a safety first approach. No one is asked or expected to perform any task that they are either unable or unwilling to do.

Our ministry and goal here at LCA is to provide relief to local families with some of their clothing and food needs. The clothing that is offered all arrives by donations from the community, both private and commercial.  The food is also donated with some of our needs being filled through purchases from the Food Bank.  Some of the duties we perform are client service, sorting through clothing donations and maintaining conditions in the display rooms.  In the food side, there is packing the grocery orders, keeping our pantry well stocked and neat, keeping our warehouse clean and organized.
