St. Brigids Community Outreach Center

Mission: The St. Vincent de Paul Center assists the neediest clients, (primarily from the Hanford and Armona areas) regardless of religious affiliation, with free emergency food, clothing, and other supportive services, pledging to always be good stewards of provided resources.

The Center provides food, clothing, and other services to the neediest in the communities of Hanford and Armona, California. An all volunteer staff provides one on one direct service with compassion, respect, and a caring attitude toward all clients served.
Clients may receive services at the Center once every 60 days. To receive services, clients must provide a valid ID, proof of residence, income, and dependents. Once verified, clients will only need to provide a valid ID and verification of any changes to income, residence, or dependents on subsequent visits.

The Hanford St. Vincent de Paul is a viable entity in our community. We are recognized as a compassionate organization where every client, visitor and volunteer is treated with respect, kindness, hope, joy and good humor. We look for ways to ease hunger and provide comfort. The center is made of dedicated hardworking volunteers. Our volunteers offer person-to-person services with food and clothing at no cost, to those who are the neediest in our community.

The St. Vincent de Paul Center is a mission of St. Brigid’s Catholic Church in Hanford, CA providing food, clothing, and small household items at no cost to needy members in our local community. As a viable entity in the community, the Center is an all volunteer organization comprised of dedicated hardworking individuals from all walks of life and various religious denominations. The St. Vincent de Paul Center is recognized throughout the community as a compassionate program where every client, visitor, donor, and volunteer is treated with respect, kindness, hope, dignity, tact, joy and good humor with a focus on service to others.
